Debbie has always had a strong passion for fitness. As a kid she participated in every sport she could, including wrestling. Debbie’s passion for dancing started as a song girl in high school and continued with dance classes in college, before moving into the aerobics fitness world, and had the pleasure of competing in aerobics competitions. Her fitness experience spans back close to 20 years. Debbie currently teaches cycling and other group exercise classes along with the small group training class, Chisel. Debbie understands and personally knows the challenges of achieving and maintaining a fit body and healthy lifestyle. Her commitment to her clients is to guide and encourage them to help them get the results they desire. Her goal is to design a fitness plan that will be one that is enjoyable, FUN, yet also giving clients new challenges! Her goal as a fitness coach is to help each client get on the path for long-term fitness and health success!
Rene is originally from the Philippines and has resided in Marin County since 1988.
He recognizes and appreciates that no two clients are alike, and to that affect, each program is tailored to each client’s individual needs and dedication. He excels in the art of supervised weight loss, strength training, body sculpting, and endurance building. His passion as a trainer is to physically challenge his clients to new levels of fitness.
Tim is certified by the American Council on Exercise (A.C.E.) and has been at Rolling Hills Club (RHC) for six years and has been a member of RHC for over 15 years. His passion for athletics fuels his desire to get his clients in great shape to perform their chosen sport effectively and efficiently. Tim subscribes to functional training protocol and utilizes many different tools to keep his clients fit. Believing we “all have a little bit of athlete in us”, Tim’s program designs will challenge, motivate and drive you; all the while strengthening your body and your mind.
Christian Lee is an ISSA certified personal trainer. He has heavy interests in the martial arts, and powerlifting as well as training for other forms of athletics. He has more than twenty years of training in the martial arts as a member of Guam’s National Taekwondo Team and in various other martial arts. He has black belts in Taekwondo and Hapkido and has training in Goju Ryu Karate, Jiu Jitsu, Tai Chi, and even fencing.
Christian’s mission as a personal trainer is to enlighten individuals to the benefits of an active and healthy lifestyle that is done right and to show the value of what personal training can bring
Christian also has degrees from Gonzaga University and from the Academy of Art in San Francisco earning a Master’s degree in the fine arts. Feel free to approach him with questions regarding training, martial arts, or even art.
Carly graduated from Sonoma State University with a degree in kinesiology and minor in psychology. She ran cross-country in college for 4 years and now assistant coaches at Sonoma State as well as at a local high school.
Carly developed a passion for running and fitness beginning as a young girl when her dad used to take her for runs. She recently ran her first marathon and plans on running many more in the future.
Carly’s goal as a trainer is to get others as passionate about exercise as she is. She knows that exercise routines can get tedious for some people and thus is always striving to add variety to her workouts. She brings a wealth of knowledge about the human body and exercising. She believes that a strong core is essential to any movement and in her own life has improved her running immensely by strengthening her core.
Chris is an ISSA Certified Personal Trainer with many years of experience in the health and fitness industry. Before he began training, Chris was involved in various athletics including basketball and martial arts. His martial art focus was on Shoulin Kempo Jujitsu, which he also enjoys incorporating into his training sessions as a great way to tone and strengthen overall physique, as well as promote greater flexibility.
Chris’ goal is to help you exceed your expectations in what personal training can do to improve your overall health and well being. Chris enjoys working with people of all ages and abilities. As an employee of Rolling Hills Club for the past 8 years, Chris is very excited to be a part of such a strong team and looks forward to working with you!
Marisha has been a personal trainer and aerobic and dance instructor through AFAA since 2003. She competed and placed in the top 10 in Contra Costa Bodybuilding Championships in 2009.
Marisha’s passion is to provide you with the tools of living and maintaining a healthy lifestyle, inspiring and motivating you to be the best that you can be. Consistency and determination is the key to achieve your desired goals.
Marisha specializes in weight loss, body building, reconditioning athletes, and safe and effective strength training.
Ron takes time to make sure his clients understand the reasons for all of their hard work and how that hard work benefits them. Having gone through two hip replacements, he can help in the post rehabilitation for those with knee and hip injuries. Ron considers himself fitness professional and educator committed to helping you achieve your health and fitness goals. He believes that fitness is a way of life and should be a routine. Having a trainer is your guidance to success and Ron has a vast amount of experience through sports and working with athletes of all ages. He designs programs specifically for each individual to target muscle groups and train the body. Ron believes that he can make a difference in your life!
Jillian has been an employee at Rolling Hills Club for more than 22 years. As the Director of Group Exercise, Jillian takes a personal interest in all aspects of fitness at Rolling HIlls Club. She has personal knowledge of the style and strengths of each of the personal trainers and has taught or participated in most of the group exercise classes. As a personal trainer, Jillian has a very personal connection to the power of lifestyle change and exercise to make positive changes in your life. Jillian was on a roller coaster life of fad diets and inconsistent exercise during her 20’s. After the birth of her first daughter in 1987, she was left with 50 pounds to lose. She felt hopeless when she was unable to lose the weight using her usual unhealthy techniques. One day when she was exercising at an aerobics studio in 1988, she met and was mentored by Joannie Greggains, a popular health and exercise authority. Through sound nutritional advice and consistent exercise, she lost 50 pounds in just under a year. This was documented by Joannie Greggains on a video published in 1988. This experience inspired Jillian to want to help others to make healthy lifestyle changes in their lives. This became Jillian’s dream and her passion. Over the years, Jillian has lead many popular classes and programs such as Bodyshapers, The Ultrasimple Diet, and The Weight Management Support Group. She has an understanding and compassion for beginners and enjoys working with woman who may be uncomfortable or intimidated by the fitness center atmosphere. Jillian excels at functional exercises that boost metabolism and strengthens and tones all the muscles of your body. As a trainer, she wants exercise to become an important, if not integral part of your life. But most of all, she wants you to enjoy yourself while working out. Her personal motto is: “The only bad exercise is not exercise at all.”
Amy has been in the fitness industry for over thirty years, and still feels as passionate as ever about being able to help people lead healthy, energetic lives. She began as a group exercise instructor and enjoyed the excitement of leading a group. She also enjoys working with people one on one. Amy’s specialties are cardio interval training, circuit training, endurance training, sport specific training, Pilates, and core training.
