Our Team

Our team is made up of dedicated individuals from the community who deliver personal and friendly service to both our members and our guests. Rolling Hills Club has been serving the community of Marin in continued operation for over thirty years, providing a place where people can find the support and friendships that will last a lifetime.

Martha & Rob Domont

Owners

Martha and Rob Domont are long-time residents of Marin County and have been successful in providing family fitness clubs since 1998, beginning with Petaluma Valley Athletic Club in Sonoma County, continuing in 2007 with Redwood Health Club of Ukiah in Mendocino County, and most recently at Rolling Hills Club in Marin County. Rob & Martha appreciate the benefits that recreational sports and fitness have granted them in their own health and believe in the importance of family fitness. Rob is a tennis and racquetball player and Martha can often be found lap swimming in the pool but also enjoys exercise in all its forms. As an advocate for cancer research and prevention, Martha is also actively involved in the community raising funds and awareness. As owners of Rolling Hills Club, Martha and Rob Domont work to ensure that each visit to one of their clubs is a positive experience beginning with a professional level of customer service, a clean and fully operating facility and superior programming. Rob and Martha hope to create a stress-free, relaxed and caring environment that is conducive to health, fitness and the all-encompassing well being of each member.

Jim Gerber

General Manager

Jim has been in the health and fitness industry for over 14 years, spending most of his career with Bay Club Marin in Corte Madera. After working in virtually every single department within the club business, he is a firm believer that excellent customer service is the cornerstone of any health and fitness facility. Jim’s goal is to make sure every member and guest is treated as though they are a part of the Rolling Hills family and each and every visit to the club is a memorable one. Jim is a native Bay Area resident and currently resides in Tiburon. With his wife Megan, Jim is keeping busy with their 3 children: JT (4), Rees (2), and Malia (6 mo). They enjoy tennis (Megan keeps Jim running around the court) and the boys have found a new love in swimming. Please stop by to introduce yourself to Jim.

Winnifred Comfort

Director of Aquatics, Membership Advisor

Growing up in the country, Winnie learned at an early age the importance and value of community. The theme of community and providing an emotionally, physically and socially satisfying experience for each individual is one that she has carried for 23 years at Rolling Hills Club. As an instructor of Water Fitness and Kindergarten PE Specialist for almost 30 years and as a manager, she has followed this model of providing opportunity for change and growth in a nurturing environment.

Jillian Shay

Director of Fitness

Jillian Shay has been a certified group exercise instructor since 1988, personal trainer since 1993 and Lifestyle and Weight Management Consultant since 1996. She came to the Rolling Hills Club in 1989 after moving into the neighborhood with her family from San Francisco. She joined the club the day after her move and was hired the following day to teach group exercise classes. The rest, they say, is history. Over the years, she has worked in every aspect of the club. It truly is a home away from home for Jillian. Her hobbies include golf (16.0 index), skiing and hiking with her friends and dog, Boomer, across the hills of Novato and Marin County. Her greatest accomplishment was a one day climb up the back side of Half Dome in Yosemite. Jillian has a lifelong passion for fitness. She has an affinity for the de-conditioned market and for women who struggle with weight loss issues, as she has been there herself. She lost 50 pounds and has kept it off for more than 23 years. She invites you to introduce yourself to her in the Fitness Center or join her in one of her popular group exercise classes. Her motto is: “The only bad exercise is no exercise.”

Amanda Young

Director of Children’s Programs

Amanda began working at Rolling Hills Club as a camp counselor in 2007. When she graduated from Loyola Marymount University in December of 2009, she began working with Guest Services. She was offered the position of Director of Children’s Programs after a few months and has been with us ever since. Amanda has worked with kids in many capacities and has completed Early Childhood Education Units, making Children’s Programs a great fit. Amanda says the best part of her job is “interacting with the members and their wonderful children”. As Director, she also develops and runs our amazing Summer Camps. Overall, Amanda loves planning fun activities that keep kids wanting to come back to the club.

Anna Levinson

Membership Advisor

Anna considers herself a builder. She loves the challenge of laying the foundation for a successful enterprise. She has honed her skills in sales and marketing as an owner of a sales organization in San Francisco, establishing a graduate school for biomedical engineers, founder of high-tech 3D imaging companies, as well as, executive director of web-based companies. But, personally, having been a member of Rolling Hills Club for 18 years, nothing compares to Anna’s responsibilities at the Club — encouraging and introducing people to an environment that permits them to attain physical and mental wellness. There is nothing better than good health! Life is to be enjoyed! Anna loves her job!

Bobbie Bukszar

Director of Guest Services

Bobbie has been a member of Rolling Hills Club for nearly 35 years. She and her family would come to Rolling Hills Club after work for many years and barbeque. After several years of being a member, Bobbie was offered the opportunity to improve the Rolling Hills Club informational displays in the age before computers and printers, hand designing all the bulletin boards and, eventually, all the programs. Bobbie has worked in Guest Services and has provided all the advertising, marketing, and flyers/posters for Rolling Hills Club for over 21 years. This Club is her “Home Away From Home”. She loves her work, loves the members, loves the people she works with, and loves the tennis & classes. She hopes to see this Club flourish and exceed all it’s expectations!
